I finally finished my screw. IT TURNS AND CLICKS. 
Took ALL. FREAKING. DAY. And that's after I had already cut out the cardboard shapes I needed a while back.
It's not the best one out there, but it's mine and I love it.
And let me just say, HOT GLUE, YOU ARE AMAZING MARRY ME ASDFGHJKL.
Imma be finishing the rest of my Stein cosplay soon (minus the wig which I will buy at the costume store when it opens), hopefully tomorrow if I work hard and fast. Already got the stitches painted on the front of the lab coat as well as the screw being completely done. Now I need to paint stitches on the back of the coat and the shoes, and modify an old turtleneck of mine with scissors and acrylic paint. I will attempt to put more pics up but I dunno if I'm gonna take anymore before I get the wig.
