He’s a shapeshifter and frequently disguises himself as a human if he needs to venture into the overworld. Though he’s not particularly happy about certain things his overactive hormones do to his human body when he’s carrying his alpha’s brood. Poor thing is used to being hairless aside from his head and has to shave way too often for his tastes when posing as a human. His skin and tissues are also normally much stretchier and it’s hard to completely negate his babies when he’s shapeshifting so he ends up sore a lot too. And of course having to put a lot of his strength towards the wellbeing of the brood, he frequently has malfunctions resulting in lapses in his shapeshifting abilities, most commonly his fangs will show and his eyes will become slitted like they are in his true form.

This is why alpha demon!Croc tells him he should be staying in his nest when he’s almost at term.
