I thought this would arc through the whole of the Alabasta/Baroque Works Saga, at least to Little Garden and line up with canon, but it ends at an appropriate spot where one can forsee it happening.

It's an unconventional pairing, but I can totally handle it, a little canon divergence for a pairing isn't such a big deal.
